Antenna carephone Princess
Antenna carephone Princess is an intelligent alarm dialer with
radio receiver for wireless radio units and two-way speech communication.
When the alarm is issued, the carephone calls the pre-programmed
alarm receivers to give information about where the alarm comes
from and the type of the alarm. When certain alarms are issued,
a speech connection is established, and the receiver of the alarm
can speak directly with the person in distress through the carephone's
integrated microphone and

| speaker. The carephone is easy
to install. It is connected to the telephone network with a telephone
plug is supplied with power through an adapter. If power failure occurs,
a rechargeable battery supplies the carephone with power. Programming
is done either from a programming unit or from a PC. |
Activity
Monitoring
Activity monitoring (passive alarm) is a selectable monitoring function
that means that certain events must occur during a set period, if
they do not, a passive alarm (inactivity) is issued. The time interval
can be set between 0 - 99 hours (default setting is zero, activity
monitoring off). When less than 10 minutes remain until the alarm,
the carephone generates a warning signal every other second. |
|
| The timer
for activity monitoring is reset by pressing the STOP-button or by
activating a trigger installed as inactivity alarm. A trigger can
be connected as a radio unit or wire connected to an input, such as
an infra red motion detector. |
Answering Function
At incoming calls the carephone generates a ringing signal through
the speaker. The calls can then be answered by activating an assistance
alarm, e.g. with the radio alarm button (RB 1091). Activating another
assistance alarm terminates the call. The time of the call is limited
to 3 minutes but can be prolonged by activating an assistance alarm
when the carphone warns for connection timeout (a beep). The caller
can also control the call in the same way as when receiving alarms
on the telephone. To be able to use this function, the carephone is
fitted with a duplex unit. Ideal For Hands Free Telephone Answering. |

Radio Alarm button
RB1091
A basic kit normally contains a carephone
with a radio receiver and one radio alarm button. The radio alarm
button can be carried either on your wrist or around your neck.
If the radio alarm button is pressed in (>0.1s) a radio signal
is sent (ca 3s) to the carphone containing the individual address
(code) and battery status. The carephone registers the signal and
activates the function selected for the radio alarm button, e.g.
assistance alarm.
|
|
| If an
assistance alarm is issued and at the same time, the battery charge
of the radio alarm button is low, a battery alarm is activated.
A radio alarm button has an LED-indicator that indicates the current
button and status. When transmitting, it is lit with a steady light,
and if battery charge is low, it blinks. |
