The Hybrid Door is a semi automatic self-powering motor fitted to any sliding door. It requires no electrical power supply to operate.

The door is opened manually and in so doing activates a self-powering motor. After opening, the motor will close the door automatically, slowly and safely.

The built in STOP-SENSOR detects movement on either side of the door and prevents it closing until safe passage is gained. The closing speed is adjustable and in two steps.

The motor also assists in the opening phase. A typical door needing 3.5kgs of pressure to open can be opened with only 400grams when the Hybrid Door motor is fitted.

In our strive for a barrier free society the Hybrid Door fulfils this need admirably. Its ideally suited to hospitals, schools, public facilities and the home. As it has little or no electrical interference. It can be used in radiology rooms etc and does not effect medical equipment.
