Dave Carthy has run his environmental control systems business since 1984 and built a reputation on hard, honest work to a very high standard. The Company has, as yet, no need to advertise for business as its reputation is transferred by "word of mouth" by satisfied clients. The ever increasing level of business, within the environmental control system’s market, led to the creation of a seperate business unit called " Ideal Technology" in 2003. At present we support a wide number of manufacturers in order to give our client the best possible solution.

Ideal Technology install environmental control systems with particular emphasis on the requirements of the physically challenged. Environmental control systems allows individuals to control their entertainment, door opening, window opening and various other activities with systems tailored to their particular needs. Ideal Technology are also a major distributor of Assistive Technology products from manufacturers such as Picomed and Brangs Heinreichs.

Our sister company "Sound Security" also install and maintain C.C.T.V., Intercom Systems, Electric Lighting Systems, Electronic Gates, Access Control and Key Telephone Systems. Within the entertainment area we install background music systems, satellite dishes and are SKY television agents.

David Carthy, owner/manager is a qualified telecommunications technician, City & Guilds electronics engineer and holds certificates in structured and fibre optic cabling and systems installation. In 1989/90 David obtained membership of the Security Institute of Ireland having passed, with distinction, their acceptance court. Course elements included Security Management, Law & Insurance, Safety & First aid.
