BUTTERFLY PSAR-2

BUTTERFLY PSAR-2 is a smart, programmable infra-red (IR) controlled receiver. It can be used as a part of Butterfly environmental control system. With PSAR-2 it is possible to control:
-door openers and electric locks
-window opener
-elevator call and floor buttons
- alarms
- bed
-worktop height, etc.
PSAR-2 receiver can be controlled with almost any kind of IR-transmitter. In most cases it is used in conjuction with Butterfly IR-transmitters but many of commercial TV or video remote controllers can be used as well, thanks to the programmability of the PSAR-2 receiver. There are a variety of different built-in operation modes in PSAR-2. This makes it possible to use it with many different appliances. These modes include also lock-code receiver operation.

PSAR-2 includes the environmental adaptivity function. This means that PSAR-2 can also tell the user of certain events via an IR-transmitter such as Butterfly PSAR-2. This feature makes some often ussed functions easier, less time consuming and even automatic - door opening, answering the telephone, for instance.

Multiple receivers can also be connected to work toghether via an IR-bus. This enables direct control to receivers located in other rooms - door opening command from bed room to the receiver in the lobby, for instance.

When used as a lock-code receiver for an outer door, an external IR-detector PSAR-EYE is needed.
