Silent Alert Personal Paging System for Deaf and Deaf Blind People

The Silent Alert System discreetly alerts the user of up to 9 important sounds around the home, comprising:

· Smoke Alarm
· Person to Person
· Car Alarm
· Carbon Monoxide
· Door Entry
· Telephone
· Burglar Alarm
· Doorbell
· Telephone
· Baby Alarm

Small Transmitter units are used to monitor each event. When activated the transmitter sends a coded signal to the Pager, which gently vibrates and illuminates the appropriate symbol.

The Pager will operate up to 100 meters from a transmitter making the system ideal for the home, garden and in the work place.

At night the Pager Unit can be recharged in an Alarm Clock Charger Unit which is placed on a bedside table. If a signal is received at night a vibrating pillow pad or flashing strobe light wakes the user. The Pager also displays the source of the signal in the usual way. The Alarm Clock also activates the Pillow Pad or Flashing Light to wake the user.
